Who are we ?

Hello. We are Lone and Jesper - We live in a little village named Ferslev on Zeeland in Denmark.

We have two sons - Christian and Christoffer (on the picture). None of them are especially fond of sailing. Although Christian shortly vent sailing in an optimst in his youngest years, and in 2015 he took the license for speedboats. They have both been with us on our sailing holidays.

I am Lone and I was born in Odense on Funen. I had not been sailing until 1995 when We bought Our first boat, and since then I have just loved sailing. I also do some kayaking. I have the certificate of eligibility for navigation (theory 2016 / practical 2017) taken at the Sailingschool in Frederikssund. I also have a Padi Scuba Diver license (2006).

I am Jesper og I was born in Faaborg on Funen. I have been sailing since I was a little child. In the period from 1975 until 1986 I sailed almost every day as I was so fortunate to be living right down to the beautiful sea at Faaborg where my parents had their own bridge and my big brother had a Berg spidsgatter moored, which I kept an eye on for him. Furthermore I sailed in FSK (Faaborg Sailing Club), where I sailed optimist, europe, windsurfer and the 606-keelboat. I have a trainercourse from DS (Danish Sailing Union) and was for some years assisting trainer for the youngest optmist dinghy sailers and trainer for the juniorsailers in the Salining Clubs two 606´es. I have done a lot of racing in the aforementioned dinghy classes and small keelboats and beside those I have also done sailing in my brothers Berg Fork Spike, Drabant 24, If-krydser, Hobie-Cat, Triss Norlin and the Junker 26. As a consequence of my sailing in most cnditions I have a huge respect for water and wind and weigh security very high.

I have the certificate of eligibility for navigation (practical 1982 / theory 2017), License for speedboat (2007), and SRC-certificat (2015). Furthermore I have a Padi Open Water Diver license (2006).

We have made this homepage because We would like to share Our experiences about sailing and maintaining a larger keelboat with others.
